1. I would love to go but not just now

Working in So Fla you hear a lot of stories about the island from the expats... My dream would be to ride my motorcycle from my So Fla home down to Key west then take a ferry the 90 miles to Havana. After a nite's stay ride ride ride up and down, east and west, around and around the island. Now THAT would be an adventure... After listening to many friends that have been there recently.. I'll give it a few more years for the Cubans to get things sorted...

I have a friend who works for one of the airlines. Groups of co-workers went and it wasn't much fun.

6. One friend relayed a story....

Of a B&B (kinda sorta) she stayed at.. It was owned by a ex radiologist who could make more money (american dollars) renting rooms in his house than reading x-rays for the government.
No toilet seats are the norm if things like that bother you.. At public or restaurant toilets, you pay for toilet paper by the sheet!!
She said if you have been to a third world country before you know what to expect.
