to make Thankful bread, get a muffin pan and roll up three dough balls per muffin hole. In the middle of the rolls, stick a note (Like a fortune cookie note) and bake per instructions.
Nice idea for thanksgiving. So, what would you write down as a thankful bread note?

I have never heard of this. I will be doing this. Thanks!
Idea just might be as simple as being grateful for the people around you that you are sharing with.

(34,136 posts)3. This site suggests having guests write the notes and rolling the notes into crescent rolls
As guests arrive have each person write a few things that they are grateful for on small sheets of parchment paper. Ive used paper before, but if you choose to do that, then use parchment paper to protect it from the dough. I used pens, but you may purchase food Safe markers.

Place your gratitude paper slips on the dough wedges, roll them up into the crescent shape and follow the baking directions. When the rolls are served, pass them around and enjoy savoring the moment as each guest tears into their hot roll and then shares the written gratitude statement. If you want to add a fun twist, keep the notes anonymous and have everyone try to guess who wrote what.

I'm very thankful that I had the upper bunk bed.
