11. I got the 45...

on the back of a cereal box when it was a hit. I had a little close and play type phonograph which was good because dad would have skinned me if I tried to play that on his Hi-Fi. It is interesting to me because "The Archies" were a bunch of studio musicians and it seemed like they were having a lot of fun with those recordings.

Is anything ever as fresh and wonderful as the music one loves in one's early 20's? Bubblegum pop, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Woodstock, and on and on. It was good to be alive!

12. My first crush

Remember watching Archies as a kid. After seeing this, I had a big crush on Sabrina. Seems strange now that a cartoon made me realize how much I liked girls. Wow! I was a very strange kid, in retrospect anyway.
