I’m not sure what’s my favorite part, Fred Astaire rocking it, Gene Kelly...my dancing idol, in so many amazing clips..I’m just at a loss! To whoever made this clip, hats off!!!! Love it!!!

My inspiration came from What's the Mashup? but I didn't manage 100! The idea was to do the same for movies from the Golden Age – meaning no title later than 1953 (although there is one at the end.) Oh, and none of these clips was sped up or slowed down.

...or march or walking rhythm ... a very popular way to have whole groups of people dancing in unison on screen... there is a beauty to just the way people walk... that funky uptown walk ... lol ...

Of course very skillful film/video editing didn't hurt ...

The meter and the selected scenes definitely fit the song perfectly! Loved the “genxers” version you shared as well!! That was awesome!
