And that grandparent had the joy of seeing him as a newborn, watched him grow and then get married to you.

and we were the first to get married.

He also lived with her for about 6 months when the hubs took a job back home and I had to finish out a contract year. They had a tight bond.


Grandpa died about 17 years ago, he and grandma were driving around a lake at night in driving rain, they were following some family members and the family members turned around, we don't know why grandpa didn't and they drove off a boat dock, they were 60 feet out before they realized they were no longer on a road. He got her to safety and people on the bank helped pull her out and when they turned around to get him, he was gone.
