(95,337 posts)but then again our translations of English to their language is just as bad. I hope there is a cool group of progresives making fun of us too!

(8,492 posts)My DIL posts these to her FB page. She's Okinawan and her English is pretty damned close to this. Her friends back in Japan think they're hilarious.

(20,277 posts)I'll stay out of the lane. I don't want to get hit with flying sushi or fish arriving by weather.

(95,337 posts)First day the 4 of us ended up with a $150 bill. Mind you I think there was at least one bottle of wine in the mix but that thing was so addictive. You keep grabbing plates thinking 'Oh this is only $5' not knowing just how all those plates add up.
But nice thing about tipping well - after the inauguration, every restaurant within 10 blocks of the event was overloaded with customers. This place, Wasabi, was right in the thick of things. When the hostess saw us she snuck us in because she knew we took good care of them.

(149,588 posts)I just LOVE these! I always get a chuckle out of the often very mangled English...
And then trying to figure out just what they mean? Fucking priceless!
Thank you!
