An oldie but a goodie

A princess is out taking a walk one day when she heard a voice. She looked down and saw -- a frog.

"Oh, lovely princess," said the frog. "I'm actually an enchanted prince. A witch cast a spell on me, and the only thing that will turn me back into myself is a kiss from a beautiful princess. Please, I beg you. Kiss me and turn me back, and I'll be your loyal prince forever."

The princess thought for a moment, then bent down, picked up the frog, put him in her pocket, and kept walking.

The frog called out to her again. "Princess," he said, "you must believe me. I'm actually an enchanted prince who needs only your kiss to become myself again. Please, I beg you, do me this favor and I'll be devoted to you for the rest of our lives."

The princess thought for a moment, then took the frog out, smiled at it, returned it to her pocket, and kept on walking.

"Princess!" the frog called out. "What's the matter here? I’ve told you I’m an enchanted prince, and that I’ll be devoted and loyal to you for the rest of time. Why won’t you kiss me?”

The princess took the frog out. "Look," she said. "I'm a princess. I've got lots of responsibilities and a very busy life. The last thing I need is a devoted prince hanging around to cramp my style.

"But a talking frog --- THAT'S pretty cool."
