(51,564 posts)and it showed 5 times in a month (this was rare for that area) and she loved to pick the snow and chase balls in it. We are from San Diego so this was new to her. The Carnival theme that year was Climate Change.

(19,148 posts)that would run as fast as she could with her nose about 2-3 inches under the snow. It was a sight to behold. The first dog-powered snow plow. What a dog she was. I miss the old girl.

(407 posts)Who did the same thing. He loved when it snowed. His favorite thing was chasing snowballs. He's been gone a long time, but I still miss him.

(19,148 posts)Loyal, good with kids, and a great temperament. My old girl died in 2003, and I still miss her. Best dog I've ever had.

(21,595 posts)I had to watch the door very carefully after a fresh snow, or the little rascal would make a run for it - and make himself very hard to catch afterward.
