9. I had a 1963 Ghia,

when I was in college, in the mid to late ‘70s. Ugly yellow with a black plastic nterior. It had a thirty-four-horse power engine and a six-volt electrical system. When it rained, water would leak onto the fuses and onto my leg. It never shorted out but the fuses would corrode. In the winter the clutch cable would freeze in it’s outer housing. The wipers were vacuum powered and would stop when I accelerated, if you call 0 to 50 in 16 seconds acceleration. Oh, how I miss that car.
