We're having lunch at a local brewery and it comes to what's going on in politics. He's a chameleon but over years of beers he's come away from the dark side.

So anyway we're talking about Mueller Time and when it's comin' and I tell him my dream scenario.

Democrats take the house and senate in '18. Pelosi becomes speaker of the house. Mueller advances charges of high crimes and misdemeanors to the house. It goes to the senate and they impeach both Trump and Pence. That makes speaker of the house the next up in line for Presidency. Madam President Pelosi, first woman President and a most hated Democrat.

Two things happen after that: conservatives become extinct as they all have heart attacks, strokes or heads explode and I ejaculate all over myself.

Yeah, beer came out his nose . . .

I think it could happen but it would only be to finish out the term until the 2020 election.

It would be hard to imagine Democrats uniting behind Pelosi and selecting her as the candidate in 2020. But you never know. So many strange things have happened in the last couple years, you just never know!

Sadly, Dems will be lucky to hold the seats we have. Getting 17 seats to flip, or finding 17 GOPolitbureau Senators with integrity seems a stretch.

If Mueller indicts all of the criminals in the enterprise, and lays out a air-tight case against DJT as an un-indicted co-conspirator, we could see the tide turn. If Mitt were named Speaker (as then President), with Biden VP, (both pledging not to run for re-election) a deal could be made.
