Grabbing a bite at Panera Bread, when this rather red-neck kind of guy walked up to me and said, "Do ya mind telling me what them numbers on ya shirt mean?" So I smiled and said, "Sure, it means I support invoking the twenty-fifth amendment of the Constitution on our forty-fifth president." Then I held up my little water cup in a "cheers" gesture. He looked perplexed and scratched his head and said "Oh." and walked off. Glad I was almost finished so I could get the hell out of there before he had a chance to look it up.

(16,373 posts)I was not in Boulder county. Still, his type is not that common in this area, at least in my experience. He sounded south-western. I'm from TN, so know it when I hear it.
