I am in desperate need of Spring

I know it's only technically only a few days away, but I'm not feeling it.

Temperatures above 45 degrees and sunshine that lasts more than 9 hours... I'm ready for it.

No more having to pay for pellets for heat and cooking outdoors on the grill... I'm ready for it.

I always liked living in New England, but as I get older, all I can think of is moving to Vegas.

Weather Underground shows a 75% chance of 3-5" of snow, next Saturday, followed by freezing rain and wintry mix on Monday and Tuesday. I thought March was supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb!

Many years I have been able to get out and at least get started on the garden and yard, this one is the winter that seems to never end.

winter, in Georgia!, has lasted five months. I've always thought Florida was uninhabitable, but this year, for the first time . . .

I don't even want to leave my apartment for anything. The forecast is showing another miserable week here in Boston. I don't know how much longer I can take it. The problem is that we only seem to get a few weeks of nice spring weather and then it goes into a blistering hot and humid summer. I would love it if it would just stay in the 50's and 60's for a few months. Those are my preferred temps.

When I don't have to bundle up for 15 minutes every time I take my dog outside!

Inside I'm wearing a shirt, a hoodie and my bathrobe... not to mention 3 pairs of socks AND my slippers

Then of course I have a hot flash and have to strip, and then put it all back on again.

Any chance I get to more to more temperate weather, I'm taking it.

And, I'm thinking, it won't be long before I'm complaining about the heat and humidity. Ohio generally has a 3-day-long spring and then we go directly to insufferable hot humid weather.

Hot flashes in summer time are the PITS!
