You never know what games he might be playing this year. He might leave fish eggs.

My wife and I got married on April Fools day! I believe there is a song with a line something like "Fools fall in love...".

Her previous marriage was breaking up (and her ex banned from her parents' house). I asked her to marry me later in the day. That also included bringing along two kids. It's kind of like learning to swim by being dropped in the middle of the ocean. We found out later that the kids had seen him hiding cocaine in a false ceiling. When she moved with me, her teeth were in very bad shape (she had to pay for food first), and her credit was so bad she couldn't even get a bank account; her ex had been hiding all the bills. I got her to my dentist first thing.

So maybe April Fools day would be considered especially appropriate? It all worked out fine.

It'll be 23 years this year. We got married on the ONE day that neither one of us could ever forget our anniversary.

And our "little guy" is now 28, married, and doing fine.
