Then eats it.

He opens his maw as wide as he can, lowers his head into the kibble and grabs up a huge mouthful. Next he takes a couple of steps to the side, releases his load, letting the kibble roll all over the floor. Then he walks around eating the bits and pieces one at a time. Repeat as needed.
