"Congratulations to Liam G! Last night at the VASD school board meeting, Liam and 12 other students were honored for their outstanding artwork! One student was chosen from each school in the district by their art teacher. Their artwork will be framed and displayed in the district office. At the end of the 2018-2019 school year the framed artwork will be given to the students to take home. It was an honor to celebrate with friends and family."
The picture Liam drew and decorated with sparkles was of his beloved black lab, Luke, who recently crossed over the rainbow bridge.....a fine tribute to a little boys best friend! Very proud of this 8 year olds accomplishment!
Liam and his art teacher:
Liam explaining his picture to the superintendent and the audience, some had tears in their eyes as Liam spoke of the love he had for his "Lukie", and how he will always keep his memory in his heart.

(17,605 posts)...or designs on t shirts. Seriously its a simplistic beautiful design with a beautiful story behind it. People love this stuff. I sell crafts at the Farmers Market every year and I see products like this selling like pancakes. People NEED a heartwarming story these days. And it would keep Lukes memory alive for him.
