My online purchases appear as ads in my email provider instantly. Duh!? I already bought it!

Why is it smart to put the exact item I just bought online on my screen, when I've already ordered it?

They think I'll buy it again, a minute later???

I doubt it.....

It is insane to be get to ads for weeks about some already brought or something you have decided not to buy.

They might have only the cookie-based data that shows you are shopping for it.
