The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI intend to post here around June 1, 15 lbs lighter
For if my doctor approves, I intend to start on Medifast by the end of this first week in May. I'll see her on Weds., May 2. I think she'll approve. At least at first, I'll lose weight quickly.
Got any encouraging words? Starting now, I have 140 lbs. to lose! I feel confident. (At least confident enough to tell this community how much I have to lose.)

I'm sure, that with your determination, you'll succeed!

(12,008 posts)I could stand to lose a good 50+ pounds, but, to be honest, I don't really do anything about. I just try to remind myself to not eat complete shit every single day so that I don't gain weight too quickly.

(20,234 posts)I'm heading into month 9 of my new way of eating, it's one of the best things I've ever done. I've got a couple more months before my annual checkup and this is the first time I've been looking forward to stepping on the scale and seeing my doctor's face.
Take before photos! Mine made me cringe but now I'm so glad I have them for comparison.
