I know that they're 'bad' but I like techno fabrics.
If I'm spending a day kayaking on a river I want something that's lightweight enough to be comfortable in long sleeves so I have sun protection and something that dries quickly if it gets wet.
Wool, cotton and other natural fabrics just aren't as good for that as synthetics. I deliberately don't inform myself about that because they're damned comfortable.
Am I a bad person?

I have been reading up on this strange chapter in the history of Donald Rumsfeld and have learned two things. One, the chemical additive aspartame is very potentially a cancer and brain tumor-causing substance that has no place in our food. And two, the reasons and means by which Rumsfeld helped get it approved are nefarious at best, criminal at worst.
