My 50,000th Post - More Catnip Memories (Dial-up Warning)

Several years ago I posted a thread for my 5,000th post and a couple years later I posted a thread for my 20,000th post. Unfortunately, the images were saved to my Photobucket account and the images were purged. Therefore, to mark the occasion here is an updated version of those posts. 
And remember, don't bogart the catnip!

Dis iz teh tail uf mi hisstory wif catnip.
I’ll start frum scratch.
When I mewved into adolescence everything seemed purrfect.
I arranged mi furst deal…
…and purrchased teh best nip out there.
It seemed impawsible fur things to get any better.
I took pride in finding teh good nip.
I waz teh cool cat that mew how to chill…
…and give manx when I hung out wif my girlfriend.
I waz ecscatic those daze.
A mew years later, I started dating a playboy bunny.
After teh cat waz out of teh bag...
…things fur going so well…
…that teh ice cream man let me run a tabby.
I waz feline groovy.
Plenty of catnip. psycatdelics, and Purrnod 2 wash it down wif.
It waz a short ride to git moar catnip.
Howeffur, there were some adfurse results 2 teh catnip.
Waz it pawssible dat I waz seeing things?
Then an alley cat purrsuaded me 2 buy what turned out 2 b bunk oregano.
I didn’t want 2 make dat meowstake again so I began a garden…
...and went catatonic guarding teh stash.
I wuz so purrplex I cud not figure out wut 2 wear.
But then teh claw came crashing down.
I cud not seem 2 git anywhere fur goodnes saek.
I tried 2 purrsuade the officer 2 let me go.
I categorically denied teh charges 2 no avail.
I wuz shockd, but I haz 2 mewve on wif tings.
My roommate mewved out cuz I couldn’t give him a reeferal fur another catnip dealer.
Teh bust waz all over teh mews.
So niaou u get 2 read my meowmoirs.

But times change and time sure flies and thank you for all you do here and for all the interesting stories that you share with us... 
And I love the orange kitty! 
Yesterday when I went to the dentist - I had the tooth extraction - I walked out with a mouth full of gauze and an ice pack on my face. I told my dentist that I'd try not to scare off the next patient in the waiting room - and she must have known the older gentleman who was waiting since she laughingly pointed me out to him, even to the point of holding up my hair - since I'm normally "as white as a sheet of paper," to quote a Skittles post. 
...is a precious thing!

and my cats are precious whether they had their nip or not.
I don't think that any sequel quite measures up to the success of an original, but the idea came up about a week ago when I was having a discussion with another member and I thought about the original thread.
I require extensive research. 
This was definitely more "fun" than your typical "educational" posts! But, you know my friend how much I appreciate those too! Congratulations on the milestone buddy. Great work. Can't stress how much I appreciate what you do here!
Bummer! But, you keep me well informed on state by state news and that's far more valuable than my drunken posts of Humble Pie videos..... 
I try to keep it informative and entertaining.
