Anyone else here watch Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix? I just finished watching Season 2.

I found it absolutely hysterical.

It would run the risk of being a little too cute if you stopped to think about it for a while, but the jokes just come so frequently that you don't even have the time.

For those who watched the first season but haven't yet started the second, I will just say that Nate Fillion returns to the show in a way that is far different than anyone could have ever expected and pretty much steals every scene he's in.

For those who haven't heard of it yet, it's basically a mixture of The Walking Dead, Dexter and Desperate Housewives with a lot of brilliant absurdism mixed in between. Stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant.

I love it. It's so delightfully twisted and bizarre.

If you have not watched "Episodes" on Netflix, it's worth the view. Was on Showtime, so it is adult, but it is hilarious imo.

5. Yes, it's a riot. Way over the top, but they do it sooo well.

I still have a few episodes left to go in Season 2. They're my special treat, so I watch one each night.

6. Not many shows manage to intentionally be over the top and still manage to be funny.

while I was getting ready for work. It seemed. . . meh.

To be fair I wasn’t paying much attention and I came in mid-episode so mine isn’t a particularly informed analysis.

I think it was face biting - couldn't get past it.
