I also like the Del McCoury band's blue grassed up version... But I really REALLY like these 2 kids' version of Del's version of Richard's song.

Peace

I'm crying listening to this. These kids are great.

From the info at YouTube:

Carson McKee (guitar) and Josh Turner (banjo) perform the Richard Thompson classic.
From the Swannanoa Gathering on the beautiful campus of Warren Wilson College near Asheville, NC.

From the lyrics at the YouTube site the OP linked to:

Said James, "In my opinion, there's nothing in this world
Beats a '52 Vincent and a Redheaded girl.
Now Nortons and Indians and {Greeveses} won't do.
Oh, they don't have a Soul like a Vincent '52."

Well he reached for her hand and he slipped her the keys.
He said, "I've got no further use...for these.
I see Angels on Ariels in leather and chrome,
Swoopin' down from Heaven to carry me home."

And he gave her one last kiss and died.
And he gave her his Vincent.
To Ride.

Josh Turner's Youtube channel is one of the best things about the internet.
