Worlds apart from current teen idol and fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, Lightfoot appreciates Bieber's efforts. "Some time back I listened to his first album and it was good. The production and vocals were better than I had imagined. And I believe he was helped out by the internet. So that's how things have changed over the years. The bottom line is you still have to have a measure of talent or something an audience wants to hear. Maybe that's why I've managed to hang around as long as I have."

But I can never figure out if he is doing some sort of meta-comedy where it's almost funny how unfunny he is - which makes it kind of funny.

I guess that's what made his W impersonation so spot-on, since they both seem to be missing on one cylinder. But to the extent that his W impersonation was so accurate, and less of a lampoon, then I'd find myself thinking, "you know, if I wanted to watch W, I could just roll video of W". Like, okay, but what's so funny about watching W, really?

I'm sure he's a nice guy, and I think he made me laugh a couple of times. But he's in my "Adam Sandler" category of more likely to make me feel almost embarrassed for him.

Ben Stiller is another one that has done some really GREAT stuff, but most of it makes me cringe. Loved him in the Night At The Museum series and Meet the Parents, but it seems that working with other good talent brings out his best.

I'm sure Will Ferrell is a great guy. I just think he took up the wrong line of work. If I had to chill out for a day with, say, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller, I'd hang out with Ferrell. Of course, people said that about W too, so...

I can’t separate the actor from Scientology. He was in some great movies earlier in his career and now he just does action/explosion films, which leave me cold.
But I like John Travolta, who is also big in the cult. It’s the slimy things Cruise did in his personal life (turned his kids against their mother, has nothing to do with his youngest daughter because she’s a Supressive Person at age 11) because of the cult that I can’t stomach.
