There wasn't a politician or talking head who could match wits with him. Many tried, and all failed; miserably. He carved up the clowns on 'Crossfire' like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Frank's devotion to citizenship and defending free speech was staggering. In the mid eighties he was anywhere anyplace any time to DEBATE the PMRC with any one willing to have one with him. Hell, I think he even did Regis and Kathy Lee! He did a one on one podium knd of deal with Senator John Danforth.
