My experience with the stomach bug is the disgusting symptoms last less than 24 hours but you feel tired and crappy for a few days afterward. Don't push your stomach, stick to chicken soup, toast, crackers and tea for a few days.

It's super gentle on the stomach and the orange and strawberry taste pretty darn good. If the tea has caffeine you might want to go easy on that. Caffeine can upset an empty stomach. Hope you feel better soon

I'm trying to wean myself to one site Mt Dew in the morning only. It's not been fun but no where near as bad as being sick. Hope you feel better soon.

It's not.

But I'm warm, comfortable, and I get paid sick-time. That's more than a lot of people get.

Long ago, before launching the career I have now, I worked for a couple of years in a bookstore. Minimum wage, no paid vacation time or sick time.

I got a really bad bug that kept me out of work for almost a week. It nearly crippled me financially.

Things are better now...

Time for a sample to the lab?
And decaf luzianne tea is good. Unless you're herbal tea only.

I like to joke about the use of the term 'sample' as opposed to 'specimen', which is the term I use.

To me, 'specimen' sounds scientific.

'Sample' sounds like 'If you like that one, there's more!"

Suprised me how many people would use recycled pickle jars & yougut cups; even when I gave them the lab containers.

My gut health has decided to turn on me and I'm finally going to be able to go see my doctor in about a week. I think the emotional stress of just feeling gross can be just as tiring as the actual physical stuff.

Feel better soon!

I'm sorry to hear you're not well.

I wish you a quick recovery.

You can try fresh ginger. Just a small piece. It helps a lot.
