$2.59 to $2.49. A deplorable was saying that gas is the lowest it's been in years, therefore drumpf is a genius.

Five years ago, when the price of gas was going up, ladies at the pool clucked and blamed Obama. Later, when the price came down and went down further, they were silent. I see no reason why cause, effect, and blame should change now.

It’s not unusual for prices to rise during the spring and summer and drop in the fall and winter. Supposedly it’s becausw demand is greater when it’s warmer, more people traveling.

It was $2.75, about 40 cents more than I paid a few weeks ago.

I paid $3 on Friday. I think it’s the cold; diesel prices are affected by heating oil demand.

it doesn't justify these prices at the pump, IMO. However, some greedy CEOs control over the refineries as well and it seems that they're going to get us one way or another!

Which is less polluting. I've noticed the increase in prices here in New York, too - suddenly went up to $2.69 in some places. Hoping they'll go back down soon.

Gasoline, aka RBOB (Reformulated Gasoline Blendstock for Oxygen Blending), which is the term for unleaded gas futures.

Seasonally, gas futures tend to dip in the winter months, November and December, and reach their peaks between April and May.
