There was a Wonder Bread bakery near my house when I was a kid. If any loaves came off the conveyor belt broken or deformed they were put in a bin. The workers there would let us take what we wanted! 😋

The other day I was in another store and got their store brand white. DH said (seriously) Now THIS is the good Squishy White! Get this from now on! He is very fond of Squishy White bread and I guess the usual brand wasn’t squishy enough.

I know that I should eat whole wheat and sometimes I do, but nothing tastes better to me than a sandwich made with squishy bread.
