My fellow DU'ers, don't you think it bad manners to reach directly over someone

sitting by your side at a table, in order to hand something to the person sitting on the other side of THEM? And not even saying "Excuse me?"

I've run into people who otherwise seem to have normal manners who do this.

I make it a point not to sit next to them again.
