(4,483 posts)but I'm devoted to Wes Anderson's movies. If you liked Fantastic Mr. Fox you'll probably like it, but it's more than just another stop-action animated movie. It's a visual delight, to be sure, but it's also, like Moonrise Kingdom, a quirky look at things from an unexpected and unexpectedly sympathetic point of view. I recommend it highly.

I am going to see it at 7:30pm today..let you know what I see tomorrow. I might add, I am a long time fan of animation and I love comedy. I want to enjoy the film not feel bad.

(38,414 posts)There are references to dogs that died, but none of our friends who we get to know in the film have that happen to them..It isn't important to the story, but there are some "puppies" in the film, if you watch for them.
