Even apart from the fact that neither the From: address nor the Reply to: address were Earthlink addies (att.net and ymail.com, respectively). There wasn't even a faked-up Earthlink logo. C'mon, Nigeria! Let's at least put in a little effort:

(15,863 posts)Might be that I'm using Firefox/Thunderbird, might be that they've just forgotten about Earthlink, might be luck of the draw. The ones that get through, though, are worse in the sense of being even more incompetent than before. (But funny.)

(30,947 posts)a couple of weeks ago telling me that I had won $350,000. There was the sound of children in the background. I said to him, "I assume you are calling from Nigeria" and then hung up. I should have baited him like those people at the Web site 419eater.com do.
