Sleeping with a six year old a shot in the groin 0400

My niece spent the night with the furry boys and uncle teb. My wife and our sons their off visiting her mom. And they will be home Monday. Well young miss fell asleep about 9 pm she was tired. We were at the orchard ponds stalking largemouth bass and man eating bluegills last evening. And I carried her to the boys room ,And the furry boys racked out with her. Around 0100 I felt her climbing into bed with me. and the dogs followed. Well she is active in her sleep her little legs and arms moving. I caught a few shots to eyes and nose.

Around 0230 she was trying to use my head as a pillow. Then I drifted back to sleep and around 0400 I caught a kick. Ok I’m up now uncle is wide awake nauseous. I migrated to keurig and she is still sleeping with the furry boys. I told my wife that sleeping with young miss is like rugby.

She will be kicking me tonight when she sleeps over. But Granny will take those kicks, because I love the sleepovers.

Bus, seriously...why do they use us for a pillow? Does not seem comfortable.

5. Such a blast from the past

As a child, staying with grandparents always meant sleeping with my grandmothers--my darling Papaw actually slept on the couch when I stayed with them! Grandaddy McCarthy slept in his own bed, so I didn't discombobulate his sleep. Is this a universal joy? Do all grandkids sleep with grandparents whenever they can? I'm sure it was a sacrifice to give me the bed because I'm sure that like your granddaughter I was not an unmoving, heavy sleeper either--but my grandmothers loved it, too. Is this a human instinctual trait?

I think my daughter must have dreams where she is the female UFC champion taking on several contenders at once. I've caught a few punches and kicks in the everywhere. I'll end up sleeping on the couch sometimes.
