Dip a paper towel or cotton in a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water and hold it on a bug bite or a rash and it takes the itch and sting away. It really works!
Other than that, I really don't care, do u?

(26,256 posts)1. I have a spray bottle of vinegar in my gardening kit, when I do any intense weeding
About every 30 minutes, or so, I spray down my arms, just in case I've brushed up against something that has brushed up against poison ivy or stinging nettle.
Before I started doing that, I would inevitably end up a blistered mess. Since I started the spray downs - nada.

(26,256 posts)6. When I'm working around the herb garden, I smell like Italian Dressing
That's an up-side or down-side, depending on your palate.

(23,631 posts)4. Didn't know that. Will have to try it. Generally I just use rubbing alcohol.
That seems to work pretty well. Thanks for the tip.

works too.
I hadn't thought of vinegar, so thanks again!
