Looks like these parents have a much bigger problem than the amount of the kid's allowance. If my kid did this I'd take him downtown to see the homeless people. Then I'd take him to the soup kitchen and let him work for a few hours as a volunteer. Then I'd rethink about his friends and who he's allowed to hang out with.
