Remember, remember, the 5th of November

"I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense."

Going to see it tonight at the Alamo Drafthouse. They're even handing out masks!

Loved the comic book and the movie...

But as I just watched that, it shook me up and the words apply to Trump and this country....

and it was already pretty scary. Then I found this, written a year ago:

"Indeed, and to those who say it was the left's fault, or the right's, consider this. What you're really saying is "its not my fault". Well here's a thought. Regardless of your political persuasion, this situation is the fault of ALL people. Why? Because the conversation turned to platforming, because law enforcement turned to coercion, because people stopped questioning the "news" and because critical thinking became "elitist" and academia another word for loony lefty. Because right wing became synonymous with nazi, allowing " actual" nazis to gain false credibility. With respect to all political options and opinions everywhere Trump is not the problem. he and his cabinet are the symptom. WE are the problem, and until we stop blaming others for the symptom we have caused then we shall continue down this dark path that lays before us, to arrive, no doubt, at another fruitless and pointless period of bloodshed both foreign and domestic, that may well be our last."
