What a crappy Hypothermia Day here in Maine

Stuck my head out the door before dawn - last night's snow had turned to pouring rain, with temps just above freezing.

Waited all day for it to let up,,,but NOOOooooo....

Now it's changing back to snow and blowing a freaking hurricane - horizontal.

I'm staying inside with the kittehs and making home-grown leek and potato soup.

2. It was a big mistake to not put on a coat when I went out to fill the bird feeders

This is a miserably gloomy, damp and chilly day, that's for sure. But it's a good day for some baked acorn squash!

3. No kidding. I fell asleep on the couch last night & woke up about 12:30 a.m.

I looked out the window and it was snowing so hard I could barely see across the street & it was coming down sideways. It's not snowing anymore, but the wind is blowing something awful. This should take care of the leaves for the rest of the year.

I'll bet they're having a miserable time watching MSU play, ugh!

4. Happy Hypothermia Day to you all! Every tree in my yard dropped

100% of its leaves overnight. NW Arkansas. About 20 degrees last night.

6. Was supposed to hike, today. Headed down to Rockland, but

just went from town to town looking at galleries and book stores.
