Root Beer + Cold Brew Coffee

I love it! Tastes a bit like dark chocolate.

3. I was originally mixing cold brew with ginger ale

Which is fine. But I ran out of ginger ale and had some root beer and tried it and it was good.

2. In the 40s, mom wanted to add sugar to cold coffee. She pulled out the jar of root beer instead!

I still remember her shocked look of surprise!

I think we still had an actual 'ice box' at the time. My brothers remember getting slivers of ice from the ice man when he delivered the new block of ice. Note, we lived close to downtown Tulsa at the time.

4. I'm a touch younger Texan

I do remember we used to walk to the five & dime to get fresh sugar cane. That was some tasty stuff.
