16 days into November and I already want the car ads to go away.

All of it - it's absolutely revolting. The luxury car dealers with their cars wrapped in bows are always the most obnoxious but lately it seems like they are all into it. And no, Hyundai, a car is not a gift, and your dealers are not "stores". Please stop.

I only know couples who agonize over the expense TOGETHER when considering such a huge purchase. I hate those ads too!

They must be in at least the $10 million+ range. Who the fuck has that kind of money in this economy?

but I certainly don't know any of them. The ads really are irritating and I have to wonder why they attract buyers at all, even people who aren't Christmas shopping.

And I did get a good deal on it, but it's one of those things where if you don't read the fine print (and there is a lot of it, especially if you finance with your bank and not with the brand's financier), you can get royally screwed.

I appreciate what they are doing - would love to see them do the same to other commercials: stores, appliances, etc., etc.
