This is part of my station's annual 'classical countdown,' where they ask us our favorites and play them all week, FINAL favorite Thursday night (usually New World or Beeth's 9th.)

One of those days. This is the perfect re-centering piece. Makes me think of my uncle taking me to the old MCCormick Place in Chicago during the 60s (before the fire)...every year at Christmas for The Nutcracker.

Much better that ruminating about the day.
