as she expects her brother to chase the ball and she'll get him when he does. Oh course this is in our backyard and not in water, but the exact same behavior. Body down low in attack position waiting for some one to come close enough. BTW, when she "attacks" its to start a game of chase or doggie play fights.
its really interesting to watch. She falls for no tricks.

For those who don't remember Charles Schultz's comic strip when it was fresh and young, Snoopy was the beagle who would lurk on the roof of his doghouse imagining what it would be like to be a vulture, among other things.
