And obviously if you recorded it from Over The Air, it's definitely 'No'.

(112,141 posts)They provide a box that monitors the channel selection on your TV and if you opt to do so, anything broadcasted on your PC. A recorded program is counted towards the ratings.
With the cable TV, if you don't change the channel for a few hours then the box will start flashing on and the user is supposed to tap a button to show that they are watching the show as opposed to leaving the TV show on while sleeping.
I can't remember the exact amount I was getting paid, but I think that it was about $75 a month. I looked upon it as a good way to cut the cable/Internet bill and shaft Fox News since they never got a blip from me.
