I wasn't intending to put one up anyway, but when we found ourselves with three kittens, that cinched it.

I used to take my old dog to the vet twice a week for laser treatments for his arthritis. When we walked in and saw the Christmas tree was up, I knew there would be trouble.

There was. I mean, I tried, but he just didn't understand the concept of a live tree that couldn't be peed on.

But I thought having a live tree in a place that treats dogs was just asking for trouble.

The staff all loved my old Murph, so they forgave him. I did make nice gift bags for everyone there, so maybe that helped.
