My Dad gave me his pocket knife that he used in his days in the Navy during WWII when I was about 10 years old. I just kept it in my pocket all the time. School, church, etc. Don't think I remember ever leaving the house without it. Nobody ever questioned me about it. I never used it to threaten anyone. But they always sought me out when they needed to utilize one. Oh, well...

They took it away from me.

Who the hell has a problem with a pocket knife at summer camp?

I don't carry knives anymore.

Or any kind of weapon, really.
