The last year before I quit high school I had pre-calculus first period.

One morning I dreamed I'd gotten up, ridden the bus to school, taken a math quiz, and so on, well into my second period P.E. class, swimming, when I realized I was the only one in the pool naked.

Alas, it was past ten o'clock when I really woke up.

Yet another day I'd missed school.

After multiple incidents like this my mom and the principal conspired to send me off to college.

Sure, it took me nine years to graduate from college but I was no longer their problem.
