My daughter wasnt necessarily afraid of him, but thought he was creepy and avoided him at every turn. Only clowns freaked her out more.

Ever since then, I have been terrified of Santa Claus.

(6,629 posts)My older daughter refused to sit on Santa's lap after she was about 3. She brings home A's in math & science, & wants to study astronomy. Physics is her favorite class.

(15,682 posts)calls him the Christmas guy. Nobody corrects her. She calls me Grandpa. No one corrects her. (I'm grandma) Not sure how she'll deal with real Grandpa and me both visiting at Christmas.
She's not afraid of anything that I know of.
