"Ballerinas being hung up to dry."

But, it looked to me like they looked flaccid enough to pass for defunct swans.

Helps poise and keeps bodies flexible.

Fortunately I sucked at it. My mom thought it would help me develop coordination and poise (I was so clumsy I could knock things over without actually even touching them) but the lessons were fruitless, I did not enjoy them, and I have remained a hopeless klutz to this day. But at least I didn't ruin my feet.

ON EDIT: By "horror" my meaning is "horror film" not that it was a poor movie. It is one of my favorite movies, in widely spaced intervals of years by the time I can work myself up to seeing it again.
