Thought my car got stolen

After my doc appointment this morning I walk out and I’m like where is my car. It’s not here as I walk around the parking lot looking for it getting freaked out I’m getting ready to call the police. Then I realize I have my wife’s car and then I try and not look suspicious or absent minded. As these two elderly ladies waiting on the bus and they were watching me wander aimlessly around the parking lot.

After a long day at work I have been known to walk to the wrong white car and try to get in.

4. I can relate! I did that once when I went shopping. I was panicking and then calmed myself down

and sat on a bench for a few minutes. Then it hit me that I had my husband's car. This was quite a few years ago, so I couldn't even blame it on being old.

6. 2000 True story

Disney World
Rented SUV for family while in Orlando
We went to Magic Kingdom one evening
Upon returning to parking lot via shuttle, we hopped off at sign H for our vehicle

Missed it by 3 rows I said out loud to my wife
Pretty good she replied
I opened the SUV
We got in
Our daughter from the back seat says
Oooo dad, when did you buy the donuts?

Wife and I look at each other
I begin to look around the front seat
I spy sunglasses on top of the dash

I tell family, This is NOT our SUV, we better get out now.

We find OUR SUV, near sign L
Same model
Same color
Our SUV key opened the other with NO trouble,,,,,,

STILL a great family story to this day

8. Similar thing happened to my father

We were leaving a baseball game and he had a green astro van. We get to the van and he puts the key in, and jiggles it a little, and it unlocks. Immediately knew it wasn't our van because of what was in it.

9. i lost my car at the airport

so thoroughly that they sent a driver to take me to it. thankful that i have vanity plates because otherwise i might still be looking for it. park and ride ever since.

10. My friend's car ACUTALLY

got moved from one side of the mall to the other. To this day we have no clue as to how and we will always stand by our story. We parked at the JCpenny's side and went in we come out and could not find it and started to look around the entire parking lot. We not only found it at the other end near the GiantT but it was also facing the other direction. What makes the story even more interesting is that it was an old Volkswagon super beetle and those things were supposed to be very heavy. There was no evidence of a break in.

14. Driving the company van

unmarked just a ugly green van came out of convenience store and got in the van and realized I had the wrong one, to nice inside.
