On the practice of printing a picture of the contents on the outside of delivered boxes:

CUT IT OUT!!!

Three times in the past two days, Christmas surprises were RUINED by boxes left on the porch with identifying pictures printed all over the outside.

Do I have to have everything delivered next door or what?

It wasn't. I contacted Amazon to ask them to better in the future and they took 50% off which was unexpected but nice. It didn't erase the memory of the giftee, but was nice.

I told the potential recipient that he didn't see what he thought he saw,.... gaslighted him a little and hid the stuff in the hall closet.

We will all pretend they are a big surprise on Christmas morning..
