(23,812 posts)...someone who had to wait 4 years for my husband to be ready to get married, the certainty of the Matt Mitchum character as to his feelings for Alice, and his willingness to pursue them, have a wistful "wouldn't it have been nice" appeal for me.
We've now been married 9 times as long as I waited for him.

(6,746 posts)I am continually astounded at the awful Christmas over-decoration; the snow gently falling, always falling; and, the dozens and dozens of baked cookies. Watch them just before bed. I guarantee you will have visions of sugar plums dancing in your head. Sweet dreams in your slumber youll have. I promise, I promise.
