I ran over a cat on the way in to work tonight. I'm so upset, and so pissed I couldn't stop in time. I hope it didn't belong to some family....

(54,770 posts)Sometimes you just cant avoid it. My dad, a big pet lover, taught me to never cause an accident trying to avoid a small animal that runs in front of you. But, it still feels bad.

(1,967 posts)It was an accident. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to avoid an accident. This happened to me and I felt terrible, even though it happened instantly and there was no way I could have prevented it.
