You don't have to speak Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Vietnamese to appreciate Asian Music... I should actually, say that My first love is Visuel Kei and Jrock, with all Asian music being second, but again, just listen to it, do you like it? Does it move you? Than you are on your way!!

That's how you discover stuffs!! I recently discovered "D'espairsRay" and they are my new band. I was a huge fan of The Gazette, and Love "An CAFE", but the "RAYS" just push buttons in me, that haven't worked in years!

Omg..this song especially!

They turned me on to boy bands, some of which were actually good, and I turned them on to Shawn Colvin, Balkan music and Irish reels. My sister-in-law might relate more to the Asian rock, as she is a Tōkyo native.

I listened to my first Kottke record when I was nineteen, and I felt as if someone had introduced me to God on a blind date.
