3. Oh, my! My dad did the SAME thing when I was a kid!!

I have never met anyone else who has that memory from Christmas Of long ago. He’d just sing the first verse but we thought it was hilarious. He died in 1967 (right before Thanksgiving) so it has been a very long time since I heard him sing it. 😔 Several years ago I found the cartoon and made copies and hand colored it for both of my sisters, now deceased. The other day when I was getting out Christmas decorations, I found my copy that is framed and I hang it up every year. I said at the time, “Okay, Christmas has arrived!”

I miss my dad, too.
